Description of Circuit Jules Tacheny de Mettet
The circuit is built on a dedicated 14-hectare site with a 13-metre elevation change. Since it is intended for both motorcycles and cars, it was designed around its users: the event organiser can choose to use one chicane or the other.
A service road runs around the outside of the whole circuit, mainly for intervention vehicles, emergency services and journalists.
The natural grandstands give a panoramic view of the whole circuit. The temporary control, pit and paddock facilities are due to be replaced by permanent buildings in the coming months.
10 corners and many alternative layouts allow several groups to train at the same time.
All the corners are named after drivers who have made their mark on the Mettet circuit throughout its history since 1927.
