Description of Circuit de La Ferté Gaucher
Designed by Frantz Schreiner, an Austrian architect who has many F1 and karting circuits around the world to his name, and built by SEMIIC PROMOTION (SEMIIC Group), the FFSA/FFM homologated circuits offer 3 tracks at least 10–12 m wide.
- 1.6 km: technical circuit with different types of corners of varying difficulty (9).
- 2.0 km: fast circuit with several straights and some very nice curves.
- 3.6 km: large circuit, fast (over 200 km/h) and technical (14 corners).
Optimal safety for drivers and spectators:
Perfect visibility, little elevation change, large run-off areas, gravel traps, FIA fencing, asphalt extensions in the corners...
A 4 m high earth bank on the site lets the public watch the drivers in complete safety.
