Description of Transilvania Motor Ring
The Transilvania Motor Ring is located in Cerghid, Mureș County, about 20 km south-west of Târgu Mureș and 4 km from the DN15 national road (E60). Built from 2011 and opened in November 2018, it is owned by the Mureș County Council. The speed circuit is 3,708 m long with 17 corners, a width of 11 to 14 m and a straight of about 700 m. It hosts car and motorcycle competitions as well as drift rounds.
The complex includes 11 double and 3 technical pit garages, a central building, a restaurant, a medical centre, a heliport and accommodation, as well as a 1,620 m supermoto circuit. Car track days are organised by the circuit and by private organisers, and the track can be rented by individuals or companies. It is also open to cycling and running.
