Italy
The Autodromo di Pergusa is located in central Sicily, about 5 km from Enna, and is reached via the A19 Palermo-Catania motorway, Enna exit. Created in the 1950s, it runs around Lake Pergusa, the island's only natural lake. The 4,950 m layout has 16 corners (10 right, 6 left), including chicanes, with an average width of 14 m. It hosted the non-championship Formula 1 Mediterranean Grand Prix from 1962 to 1965, Formula 2 and Formula 3000 races from 1985 to 2003, the World Sportscar Championship in 1975 and 1979, and the Superbike World Championship in 1989.
The circuit has 25 pit garages, a paddock of more than 20,000 m², a 5,000-seat main grandstand, a hospitality area with bar and terrace, a 300-seat conference room and a press room. Run by a consortium of public bodies of the province of Enna, it is used for Pirelli motorcycle tyre testing and hosts national events; a round of the Italian Prototype Championship is announced for 16 to 18 July 2027.
