Description of Circuit du Laquais
Located in Champier, in the heart of the Rhône-Alpes region, the circuit benefits from the proximity of the surrounding major cities: Lyon, Grenoble and Geneva. It also enjoys excellent road, air and rail connections. It is the only car circuit in the Rhône-Alpes region with FFSA homologation for speeds above 200 km/h.
Originally a fast 2.4 km track with wide run-off areas, sequences of tight corners and increasing-radius curves, both cambered and off-camber, built to current standards for better safety. At the beginning of 2009 the circuit was extended, bringing the length of the layout to 3.1 km.
