Driving Center Groß Dölln, near Templin, about 60 km north of Berlin, covers 113 ha of a former military airfield built in 1952 and used by the Russian army until 1994. The driving centre, opened in 2002, has a circuit designed by Hermann Tilke with four layouts that can be combined, up to 4.25 km. It features 7 m of man-made elevation change and replicas of the Omega of the old Sachsenring and of the Sachs-Kurve at Hockenheim.
The site also has 11 training modules (low-grip surfaces, a wettable handling course, off-road), former aircraft shelters turned into event rooms, a bistro and a fuel station. It offers car, bike and van training courses, as well as track days.
