Description of Autodromo Vallelunga Pietro Taruffi
Vallelunga "Piero Taruffi" has a rich history and has always been a point of reference for all racing enthusiasts. Important chapters of Italian motoring history have been written on its corners.
A very technical circuit, popular with riders and drivers on 2 and 4 wheels, it is ideal for testing new models, racing, technical testing, training sessions and major events.
With its new configuration, the track received FIA approval for Formula 1 testing in 2004, becoming a point of reference for several teams. The track is used intensively for winter testing and hosts many categories, such as the WTCC, the Le Mans Series, FIA GT and Formula Superstars, as well as all the national and international championships.
New pit garages were built in summer 2006. In 2007/2008 the circuit hosted the Superbike World Championship.
There is no better setting for events aimed directly at motorcycle and car enthusiasts.
