The many discussions eventually led to the publication of new Technical Rules and Security by the FFSA. The rule of the much maligned changing weight configurations and now defines three categories (less than 950 kg from 800 to 1800 kg over 1500 kg), but mostly it is a recommendation and not a requirement. In addition, the cars and the prototypes are now allowed to ride together. The application of these new RTS is immediate.
