The club was established in 1997 on the initiative of Michel Androvitch and a handful of enthusiasts of the brand Alfa Romeo. The spirit of the club is exclusively consolidate the brand's cars to the sports center before 1980 or have an exceptional character rarity.
For three years the club has experienced strong growth and now has 200 members including Jean Todt (General Manager of Scuderia Ferrari) and Elvira Ruocco (archive Manager Alfa Romeo in Milan).
Alfa Classic Club has over 200 members with about 600 old vehicles and is part of the FFVE (Federation Francaise of Vintage Vehicles) under the number 706.
